2Event is a comprehensive platform comprising a website and mobile application designed for both event attendees and organizers, consolidating essential functionalities to enhance the event experience:

• Purchasing tickets and obtaining event posters with minimal service fees
• Facilitating pre-event acquaintance among visitors
• Enabling users to search for travel companions and roommates

Project Background

The company 2Event was established in Lviv in 2013 by investor and entrepreneur Yaroslav Maxymovych.

According to Mr. Maxymovych, the genesis of the platform's core concept stemmed from his experience as a juror at the HappyFarm event. He recalls arriving at the venue, located in Schastlivoe village near Boryspil, having traveled from Lviv by train and taxi. During the event, he sat at a table where he unexpectedly connected with a colleague from Lviv who had taken a similar route. This encounter highlighted the potential benefits of grouping travel companions around event participation, or even the idea that events themselves naturally gather like-minded individuals who could benefit from a tool to facilitate connections. Mr. Maxymovych remarked, “2Event was created to serve as this tool."
